Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How can I apply for an internship position at Gasunie?

    If you are interested in an internship at Gasunie, or if you want to write your thesis, you can send an e-mail with a letter of apply and your CV to stage@gasunie.nl.
     
  2. Will Gasunie provide me with any type of compensation during my internship?

    Intermediate vocational education students (MBO) will receive € 200,= per month and Higher vocational education students (HBO) and Higher education students (WO) € 300,= per month.
     
  3. What is the duration of an internship?

    The duration will be determined by mutual agreement with the student and the supervisor.
     
  4. When can I start with my internship?

    Regular internships start in January and in September. If you have special requirements you can send an e-mail to stage@gasunie.nl.
     
  5. How long in advance must I submit my application?

    Internships are filled three months before the internship starts. So if you want to start in September, you should apply before June 1st. And if you want to start in January, you should apply before November 1st.
     
  6. Are internship positions on a full-time basis?

    Regular internships as well as Project Challenge positions are in principle on a full-time basis. The workload is mostly 40 hours a week. If you have less than 40 hours per week available for your internship or thesis, you can send an e-mail to stage@gasunie.nl.
     
  7. Are there any special requirements for an internship for the Netherlands?

    In order to do an internship with Gasunie, it is required that you are registered at a (high) school or university. When you where born outside the Netherlands, a residence permit requirement may also apply.
