We occupy a leading position in the competitive European gas transport market. We are committed to achieving growth in this market, which is rapidly expanding and presenting a challenge to ambitious companies like ours. We are now extending the national transport network through the recent completion of a major pipeline to the UK (the Balgzand-Bacton Line) and ongoing work to build an underground gas storage facility. Plans to establish an LNG terminal on the Maasvlakte are also at an advanced stage. Gasunie has further large-scale investment projects awaiting launch in the near future.
