What is Vlamboyant?

Vlamboyant is an active network of young and enthusiastic Gasunie employees who are keen to be involved in activities within and around Gasunie.

Vlamboyant is a discussion platform for exchanging experiences and ideas and for encouraging the development of your critical outlook. It offers the opportunity for broadening your knowledge of Gasunie and for widening your view of the gas industry. Vlamboyant also gives you the chance to increase your network of acquaintances within Gasunie in an informal setting.

To sum up: Vlamboyant is a dynamic club with lots of ideas, creativity and ambition.

What will Vlamboyant do for you?

Every year, Vlamboyant organises a mix of activities, such as excursions to installations, lectures by speakers both within and outside the organisation, social gatherings, workshops and an annual ‘event’.

Vlamboyant’s activities can included the following:

• An event about "debating"
• Informal meetings, often focussing on a current issue as the theme, in the centre of Groningen
• A number of excursions, including a visit to the NAM and a tour through Groningen
• A lunch lecture on regulation
• Organisation of a Career event
• Christmas drinks with the senior management

Vlamboyant also joins in regularly with the activities of young people’s networks of other companies, including those of NAMbitious (NAM), Pentalent (Pentascope), the Essent trainee programme and SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers).
